As Salaam
It was a noble gesture of the sikh community who felt problem faced by other human beings and offered magnanimous  help . It was good of those muslim ummah who accepted the kind offer and accepted thankfully . It is extremism , narrow mindedness and lack of faith and understanding that others are trying to find faults in every finnasse and crying shirk, bida;a & Kufr

Rasool Allah (saaws) asked Najrani Christians to pray in Masjid , asked His Ummah to ensure the safety of their churches and we can still hear the call of Azaan from a church and have myself offered salah at such odd places I coulld have never imagined before going abroad . Strange among strange on the 10 of Aashoorah , on the Martyrdom day of the progeny of Rasool e Islam , a procession with Alams comes  out from the Lawns of the Sydney Opera House , and for some the skys are falling if some people offered the  namaaz e Eid in a Gurdwarah .Live in this world amicably with others you have not been created in isolation .
Saudi Wahabis have so much ruined and poisond the thinking of ordinary muslims that in every thing they see only kufr and shirk . Their target killings in Pakistan, terror in Afghanistan, interference in Bahrain and incitement to rebellion in Syria is killing thousand of innocent muslims and still claims to be the best of muslims and see kufr every where else .

Slm all,
In accordance with Mubahala event in our history, the Prophet himself invited the christians of Najran to say their prayers in masjidun nabawi n they did; so here acceptance or not depends on Allah (swt) since if the muslims had NO place to pray and the rain, then they can pray, as it is eid salah is still not yet wajib in 12th Imam’s ghaybah.
The other thing is the goodness of the sikhs who inspite of the intolerance btwn hindus n muslims, they did a goodwill act, which Islam too stresses !
My bros/sisters, this being a good gesture, let’s unite to eliminate the enmity so as to overcome the real enemies of Islam today who are not only spreading hatred but are killing our bros n sis’ all around the world.
I stand corrected; these are just my thoughts.
Jazakumullah all of you for your valuable contributions in this forum always!
May Allah help us to do the right, aamin.
Allahumma ajjil liwayyikal faraj!

FIRST THOS WHO PRAYED AT GURDWARA, THEY HAVE BEEN LABELED AS KAFIR, SO THAT’S CLOSED CHAPTER.

YES  JUST BECAUSE THEY OFER EID NAMAAZ ELSEWARE, SO WE HAVE FIRST TO CLARIFY IF THOSE WHO PRAYED ARE KAFFIR AS THEY OFERED PRAYERS AT A TEMPLE.

Zaher Husein, Good, you came to correct Mr Wajahath, COMING TO BELIEFS, ABOUT SIKHS,  IF YOU THINK SIKH AS NOT KAFIR,  HOW COME OTHER MUSLIMS ARE BEING LABELLED AS KAFFIR WHO PRAY TO ONE ALLAH SAME BOOK  SAME PROPHET AND SAME KIBLAH AND IN MOSQUE WHERE ANY MUSLIM CAN GO AND OFFER PRAYERS.

YES YOU WONT HAVE ANSWER. SO LETS CLOSE.

AS SALAAM

IF you study the principle of Sikhism,. they believe only in one supreme God and do not  indulge in Idol worship as such one cannot catagorise them as kaffir . Prayers in special circumstances can not as such be ruled as unacceptible , morever such irresponsible Fatwah is an indication of extreme narrow mindedness.

O dear. It all Ahle Sunnat followers prayed there.
If what you say is true then you shud know what it is meaning of short knowledge.
Surely you will not find Allah inside Kaaba, but in your heart. Al Qalbu haramal lah. La taskunu ahadin illa Allah. Do not allow any to be (in your heart) there except Allah. (The Prophet)
Surely prophet Mohamed is the first wave from the ocean of Allah’s beauty and love, the seal of prophets and May the blessing be also on the family and progeny of Mohamed, the purest of the pure who are joy and gladness of the worlds, and in particular the last, “Mahdi” lord of the age and time itself.
During the coming of Islam. The first to pray at Kaaba was the Prophet, lady Khadija and Ali where the Kaaba had various (360) Gods as you referred as Najis still the Prophet prayed there!
The family of the Prophet are the keys to the door of the garden. May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon them and those who see and follow the right. Salaams.

Ali Ansar

Muslims to offer Eid Namaz in Gurdwara

It was pouring, so Sikhs invited Muslims to offer Namaaz in Gurdwara

In a country where one often gets news of religious intolerance and hate, here is a piece of news that touchingly shows the mutual love and friendship between different communities.

Muslim residents of Joshimath in Uttarakhand offered Eid namaaz on Monday in a Gurdwara, after being invited in by its head priest, according to local media. There is no mosque or idgah in Joshimath, a town perched above the Alakhnanda deep in the Garhwal Himalayas. Usually its 800-odd Muslim residents offer namaaz at the town’s Gandhi Maidan, a public ground.
It had been raining heavily for several days and the festival day too dawned in pouring rain. Gandhi maidan had turned into slush. The Muslim community was groping for a solution when the head of the local gurdwara, the Sikh’s place of worship, sent a heart warming message – the Muslims could use the main hall of the Gurdwara for offering namaz.
So, at 9:30am, the congregation of Muslims in bright new clothes trooped down to the Gurdwara and offered the ritual prayers in the big hall. After the ceremony, they embraced the waiting members of Sikh community. Some Hindus from the town too were present and offered greetings to the other two communities.
Sardar Buta Singh, Prabandhak of the Gurdwara, later told media persons that the Muslims were facing trouble due to bad weather, so he asked them in.
Maulvi Asif was quoted by media as saying that by solving their problem, the gurdwara committee had presented an example of humanity and respect towards all religions. He said that the Muslim community was thankful ofthe committee.
Joshimath is located about 250 kilometers from Rishikesh on National Highway 58. It is close to two important pilgrimage centres – Badrinath of the Hindus and Hemkunt Sahib of the Sikhs.
